November 12, 2019, Tuesday - For The Love Of Craft - Documentary Screening at Inbound BrewCo

Time: 7p - 9p

Location: Inbound BrewCo, 701 N 5th Street

For The Love Of Craft - Documentary Screening

Love craft beer? We're screening a new documentary [for free!] that peels back the label of what it means to be a craft brewer and reveals the true heart of craft by introducing the people behind it.

We're showing the half hour documentary at 7:00pm and again at 8:00pm.

From the luminaries and icons of the craft world, to the industry’s newest players, the film dives deep to expose the desires, dreams, wisdoms, and naiveties of people pursuing their passions – through independence.

Breweries and craft beer luminaries included in the film: Larry Bell of Bell’s Brewing, Kevin Blodger of Union Craft Brewing, Ken Grossman of Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Kim Jordan of New Belgium Brewing Company, and Jim Koch of Boston Beer Company.

For the Love of Craft is produced by the Brewers Association, Studio C3, and Charlie Papazian.

THE USUAL UNCERTAINTIES

The stories in THE USUAL UNCERTAINTIES follow characters who live at the edges of the frame—among them, a community college dropout from Miami, a couple who meet at a 7-Eleven in Los Angeles, a religious boy whose mother arranges a square dance Bar Mitzvah party for him, the director of a competitive Scrabble club, and a widowed geriatric care manager. Jonathan Blum's stories have a way of turning everyday people inside out, rendering them vulnerable and strange, the way we all appear when looked at closely enough. The unlikely heroes of THE USUAL UNCERTAINTIES are trying to make their way in the world in the face of struggles big and small, both ancestral and circumstantial. This collection is a compelling blend of tragic and comical, quiet and radiant.
