October 24, 2017, Tuesday - DMNA Annual Meeting at Open Book

Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Location: Open Book, 1101 Washington Avenue S

The 2017 Downtown Minneapolis Neighborhood Association (DMNA) Annual Meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Open Book in the Performance Hall.

The feature of this year's meeting will be a Public Forum on 800 Washington Avenue S., also know as the Guthrie Liner Parcel. Previous development proposals for this site have failed to come to fruition. The City intends to redraft and reissue an RFP for 800 Washington Avenue S., at some point in the near future. The DMNA wants to know what your vision is for this unique and highly visible vacant property in Downtown East. Come to the DMNA Annual Meeting to express your thoughts and opinions. Representatives from CPED and Council Member Jacob Frey's office will be at the meeting to hear from you.

Elections to the DMNA Board of Directors will take place at this meeting. If you have an interest in running for a seat on the DMNA Board, please send an email with your name, address, contact email and phone and a statement explaining why you would like to sit on the DMNA Board to DMNA Neighborhood Coordinator Christie Rock Hantge at christie@thedmna.org.
