Talk of the Stacks with Carmen Maria Machado

Join us for an evening with award-winning author and memoirist Carmen Maria Machado, in conversation with bestselling novelist Curtis Sittenfeld.

Machado is the author of the new memoir "In the Dream House," published by Graywolf Press of Minneapolis. Her debut short story collection, "Her Body and Other Parties," was a finalist for the National Book Award and the winner of the Bard Fiction Prize, the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Fiction, the Brooklyn Public Library Literature Prize, and others.

Seating: This program is FREE and open to the public. Doors open at 6:15 pm for general admission seating. The program begins at 7 pm. Seating is Limited. Overflow space with live feed will be available.

Accessibility: To request ASL interpreting, please contact friends@hclib.org at least one week prior to the event. Assistive listening devices and wheelchair accessible and companion seating are available at all Talk of the Stacks events.
