Defending Democracy, MinnPost's 12th Anniversary Celebration

As MinnPost marks 12 years of award-winning nonprofit journalism, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than an in-depth conversation that gives our audience a deeper understanding of the forces shaping the world.

That’s why we’re excited to welcome Brian Klaas as our featured guest for Defending Democracy, MinnPost’s 12th Anniversary Celebration at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, at the Cowles Center. Klaas, a Minnesota native, is a weekly columnist for The Washington Post and host of the popular podcast, “Power Corrupts.” He’ll join MinnPost editor Andrew Putz for an insightful discussion of the current threats facing democracy.

Ticket sales are now open for the general public through the Cowles Center box office. Prices start at $50, and all proceeds support the hard-working reporters in MinnPost’s nonprofit newsroom.

MinnPost members receive a $10 discount on tickets. If you’re not a member, join right now with a donation of any amount at minnpost.com/support, and then contact members@minnpost.com for the discount code.

To show your leadership support for our nonprofit newsroom, please consider purchasing a multi-ticket Patron package, which include a pre-program reception, premium seating, and parking. Full details at minnpost.com/defendingdemocracy.

We hope you can join us for this engaging event as we dig deep into current events, celebrate MinnPost’s work, and fortify its future. Cheers!
