Time: 7:00pm

Location: The Loft Literary Center, at Open Book (Performance Hall), 1011 Washington Ave

Be Heard Youth Slam 2017

Join TruArtSpeaks for this exciting semi-final bout in the 2017 Be Heard MN youth poetry slam series. Witness the work of 15 of the most dedicated youth poets from around Minnesota as they tell their stories, share passion and talent, and compete for a chance to make finals, and potentially join the 2017 Be Heard cohort. These poets will create together, sharpen one another's skills, and perform original work around the state, as well as form a team to represent Minnesota at Brave New Voices, the annual, international youth poetry slam and festival, where more than 500 young people from across the globe gather to share poetry and build community.

Tickets will be available at the door and at www.truartspeaks.org
