March 11, 2011, Friday - Children’s Defense Fund Beat the Odds Award Dinner at The Depot

Time: 6:00pm

Location: The Depot, 225 Third Avenue South

You’re invited to join the Children’s Defense Fund’s 19th annual Beat the Odds Award Dinner.

The night begins at 6:00pm with a silent auction and reception. There will be spectacular items to bid on, a raffle and live auction.

At 8:00, guests will be seated for dinner and an inspiring and emotional program when the honorees will speak.  Their videos will be shown and scholarships will be presented. Four high school seniors who have succeeded in school and their communities, despite having faced tremendous difficulties will receive $4,000 scholarships.
