June 27, 2015, Saturday - Handyman Special Class at Mill City Museum

Time: 10:30am – 1:00pm

Location: Mill City Museum, 704 Second Street South

Preservation Alliance of Minnesota presents: Handyman Special Class

Sure, you like your fix-it person. But wouldn’t it be great if you could take him or her off your speed dial? What if you could confidently do basic handyman projects on your own? Cornerstone Academy helps make it happen with a two-and-a-half hour class designed to save you time and money while you maintain your vintage home. Old house pros Charlie and Richard Dana (formerly of award-winning Jet Construction) show you how to unclog a drain, repair a running toilet, install a light fixture and hang a window treatment. In addition, you’ll also get an overview of radiator care, tips on home maintenance and expert advice on how proactive upkeep can help prevent costly repairs.

Class is limited to 25 participants (and may fill up quickly). Tickets are available online only and must be purchased by June 20, 2015. For more information and to register: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/handyman-special-june-tickets-15652288416.
