June 24, 2011, Friday - Lunch with MacPhail

Time:  Noon –  1:30pm

Location: MacPhail Center for Music, 501 2nd Street South

Join us for lunch and an inside look at MacPhail, followed by a sneak peek of a dress rehearsal of MacPhail Composition Camp. 
 
Composition Camp Students ages 11 - 18 prepare a personal score of music and receive coaching from MacPhail teaching artists to build their composition skills.  Each camper works with MacPhail composition faculty, and their peers.  Then students get to hear their work performed by professional musicians.
