Dan and Nancy Chapel, Owners of Cardwell Hill Winery of Willamette Valley, Oregon will be stopping by the store to meet you, pour samples of their current releases, and maybe sign a few bottles. We will be tasting their 2010 Pinot Gris, 2010 Rose of Pinot Noir, the 2008 Pinot Noir Estate (going fast) and the recently released 2008 Reserve Pinot Noir. Here are The Wine Spectator's glowing reviews for the Pinot Noirs:
 
2008 Estate: "Silky and refined, this plays out its flavors of red cherry, wild berry and guava on a graceful frame, with a hint of caramel, remaining soft and elegant through the finish. Drink now through 2014. 2,504 cases made." 91 points
 
2008 Reserve: "This one sneaks up on you. It starts out silky, with a sour cherry edge to the smooth berry and spice flavors, then gets fleshier as the flavors deepen and linger impressively. Drink now through 2018. 441 cases made." 92 points
