Tour St. Anthony Falls Laboratory on the Mississippi River, a leader in confronting energy and environmental issues of the 21st century.

The St. Anthony Falls Laboratory (SAFL) is a fluids research and educational facility of the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota.Tour the recently renovated experimental facilities and learn how scientists confront the major societal challenges in energy, environment and health of the 21st century.

This special access tour is part of Mississippi Park Connection's Working River Tour series. Check out our other tours on Facebook or at parkconnection.org/events

-This event is free and open to the public.
-Dress wisely. SAFL is a fluid mechanics lab, and you may get dusty, wet, or muddy, and you will definitely be walking a great deal. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
-Parking is reserved for SAFL personnel only. If you require handicap accessible parking, there is a spot available near the front door. Otherwise, we ask that you park off-site at one of these locations:
---Garage: 212 SE 2nd Ave
---Lot: 200 University Ave SE
---Metered street parking is available along SE Main St, portions of SE 3rd Ave, and 2nd St SE
---Or consider biking—we have lots of bike racks
-When you arrive, please gather at the location noted on your confirmation email. Your tour guide will meet you there.
-Space is limited and registration is required.
-If you can no longer attend, kindly cancel your registration to open your spot to others.
