The Great Northern celebrates winter in Minneapolis and Saint Paul by promoting a positive mindset and healthy, active, outdoor lifestyle. We feature signature events created by our partner organizations as well as programming of our own, all highlighting Minnesota at its wintry best with an accessible, family-friendly focus. Our goal is to make our winters an asset, which will benefit residents and help fuel our economy by driving tourism and attracting new talent for years to come.
