Preschool Book Arts with Ellen Ferrari

Thursdays, January 23 - February 27

Get a jump on literacy in interactive preschool book arts workshops. Make paper; print patterns, shapes and letters; and construct colorful books in a fun environment. Each workshop begins by reading a story and continues by investigating examples produced by working artists. Vocabulary, tools and processes are also introduced. These workshops emphasize visual decision-making, improve manual dexterity, encourage a love of books and can be repeated over and over again as projects change each session. Dress for mess. For families with children ages 3-5. Adult/child pair: $60 (10% discount for MCBA members) + $12 supply fee; additional participants (adult or child): $30 (10% discount for MCBA members) + $6 supply fee. Register for entire series or individual sessions.
