January 20, 2020, Monday - MLK Holiday Service Event at US Bank Stadium

Time: 9:30 AM – 12 PM

Location: US Bank Stadium

MLK Holiday Service Event

MLK Day of Service "a day on, not a day off." Join hundreds of other community members in volunteerism!

Each year, on the third Monday in January, the MLK Day of Service is observed as a "day on, not a day off." MLK Day of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King's vision of a "Beloved Community."

Make a difference on this powerful day by joining hundreds of other community members in volunteerism from 9:30 am – noon on January 20, 2020.

A collaboration between HandsOn Twin Cities, General Mills, and the Minnesota Vikings this family-friendly event will feature three volunteer activities – assembly of snack packs and school supply kits for local students and creating cards for local teachers. This event will immediately follow the 30th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Breakfast at the Armory. All breakfast attendees are encouraged to attend – turn your inspiration into action!

Feel the influence of the MLK legacy through various onsite activities including mingling with former Vikings players and learning how you can carry your service beyond this one day of celebration.

All minutes volunteered will be counted towards the NFL and Minnesota Vikings Huddle 100 campaign inspiring people to make meaningful and lasting contributions to their communities.
