Loft Mentor Series Reading with Jennifer Kwon Dobbs

The Loft presents a 2017–18 Loft Mentor Series Reading with Jennifer Kwon Dobbs and fellows Nneka Onwuzurike and Maya Beck. Jennifer Kwon Dobbs’ poetry book, Paper Pavilion received the White Pine Press Poetry Prize and the New England Poetry Club’s Sheila Motton Book Award, and Song of a Mirror was a finalist for the Tupelo Snowbound Chapbook Award. Nneka Onwuzurike is a creative nonfiction writer who is a 2017 Intermedia Arts Beyond the Pure Fellow, 2016 Givens Foundation for African-American Literature Emerging Writers Fellow and a VONA/Voices workshop alum. Maya Beck is a lapsed Muslim, recovering otaku, socially-awkward blipster, Cali transplant and genre-confused writer.

$10; members $5. Advanced tickets guarantee a general admission seat and help cover the Loft's costs to host the event. Pay-what-you-can tickets are available at the door 30 minutes prior to the event on a first-come, first-served basis. No one turned away for lack of funds. Doors open 30 minutes before the event. Seating is general admission (not assigned).
