February 25, 2011, Friday - Talk of the Stacks - T.C. Boyle: When the Killing's Done at Minneapolis Central Library

Time: Doors open at 6:15pm. Program begins at 7pm.

Location: Minneapolis Central Library, Pohlad Hall

Visionary novelist Boyle, author of more than 20 books, including "After the Plague," "World's End" and "Road to Welvill," which was made into a movie, has had his award-winning work translated into more than two dozen languages. His newest work, "When the Killing’s Done," portrays a showdown between two factions of environmentalists, each utterly convinced of their beliefs in preserving the islands and the natural world. Seating is first-come, first-served.  Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Sponsored by the Presented by the Library Foundation of Hennepin County. Premier sponsor: The Private Client Reserve at U.S. Bank. Additional support: Magers and Quinn Booksellers, secretsofthecity.com and National Endowment for the Arts.
