For two years Black Table Arts has gathered poems from around the world on black joy. We are thrilled to announce that work will be published as A Garden of Black Joy: Global Poetry from the Edges Of Liberation & Living curated by Keno Evol.

Join us at The Loft Literary Center inside the Target Performance hall for an evening of poetry and discussion from the writers included. Special thanks to In Black Ink, Wise Ink & Button Poetry. Wonderful Artwork by: Leslie Barlow.

A Garden of Black Joy: Global Poetry from the Edges of Liberation and Living. Poems, interviews, and essays that spotlight black joy not only as a resource of abundance, but as a mode of self-defense. Poets from Berlin to Kiambu, Antwerp, London, and beyond provide a sketch of what black joy means in this moment and how to make use of it in the future.
