Time: 7:30 PM – 9 PM

Location: Weisman Art Museum, 333 E River Pkwy

Artist Talk with Harriet Bart

Join Harriet Bart and exhibition curator Laura Wertheim Joseph, PhD, in dialogue about the artist’s life, work, and retrospective, "Abracadabra and Other Forms of Protection."

ABOUT "ABRACADABRA AND OTHER FORMS OF PROTECTION"

The Weisman Art Museum is proud to present one of the most comprehensive presentations of artist Harriet Bart's work to date. Bart has sought deep and evocative expressions of memory through more than four decades of artistic innovation and collaboration. Drawing inspiration from wide-ranging sources and working across media, her art often explores the power of objects to honor the lives of the forgotten. Curated by Laura Wertheim Joseph, PhD, the project celebrates Bart as a pionerring feminist and conceptual artist.
