Truck Stop Gallery Presents: "This Day Forward"

Runs December 9 – January 6th

From This Day Forward is a solo exhibition by Minneapolis artist Carrie Thompson featuring video and installation.

Carrie’s work explores roots, rootlessness, and restlessness. These ideas are informed by her upbringing as the child of a broken family. Her newest work, From This Day Forward: Marriage and Miscarriage, focuses on being grounded, getting married, and having a family. The show highlights both ends of the emotional spectrum while embracing the day to day. This is achieved through video and physical installation.

Opening Reception: Saturday December 9th 5-9
Artist talk: Dec 20th 7pm: An evening with Carrie Thompson
Closing Reception: Saturday, January 6th  5-9
Otherwise open by appointment: info@truckstop.gallery
