December 18, 2017, Monday - North Loop Street Reconstruction and Pedestrian Improvements Meeting at Central Library

North Loop Street Reconstruction and Pedestrian Improvements

The City of Minneapolis Public Works will be holding a third preliminary design meeting for an upcoming street reconstruction project within the North Loop. The first two meetings were held in July and August of 2017 and notifications for those meetings were sent to property owners at that time.

The street segments that are scheduled for reconstruction are:
• 3rd St N (5th Ave N – 10th Ave N)
• 5th Ave N (Northeast of 5th St N – Washington Ave N)
• 7th Ave N (4th St N – Washington Ave N)
• 8th Ave N (3rd St N – Washington Ave N)
• 9th Ave N(3rd St N – Washington Ave N)

Public Works staff have developed a recommended a concept layout that incorporates stakeholder feedback. This layout can be found on the project website: http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/cip/future/WCMSP-200196

The third project meeting will be held on December 18th, 2017 to gather additional feedback on the concept layout. Staff will bring a final recommended layout to City Council in early 2018 for approval. The location and time for the meeting is found below:
