Time: 7:30pm

Location: Guthrie, 818 South 2nd Street

Kevin Kling's Tales From the Charred Underbelly of the Yule Log

Kevin Kling returns to the Guthrie in his celebrated one-man show Tales from the Charred Underbelly of the Yule Log. Best known for his popular commentaries on National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” and his storytelling stage shows, Kling delivers hilarious, often tender stories that have delighted audiences around the country. With Yule Log, Kling spins hilarious yarns of family traditions and holiday merriment. Wry tales, both old and new, of Midwestern Americana take surprising turns, from laugh-out-loud bizarre to the touchingly insightful.

The performance will be followed by a book signing at the Guthrie Store on Level One. Stop by to explore the selection of Kling’s books, CDs and notecards featuring his artwork.
