Live Boxing Series: World Title Fight - Lara vs. Alvarez

Another summertime sizzler is coming to the Minneapolis Armory on Saturday, August 31, with a professional boxing card featuring a World Championship bout. The vacant IBF super welterweight world title will be on the line when former world champion Erislandy “The American Dream” Lara of Cuba (25-3-3) takes on Mexico’s Ramon Alvarez (28-7-3) in the main event. Ramon is the brother of legendary fighter Canelo Alvarez, a Mexican boxing superstar.

Tickets for the nationally televised August 31 event, which is promoted by Warriors Boxing and TGB Promotions, are on sale NOW: ArmoryMN.com

The fights will be televised nationally by Premier Boxing Champions, on multiple platforms with broadcast partners FOX and FOX Deportes.
