10:30-11AM Guest Chef from The Wedge Community Co-op‘s catering team will prepare a seasonal gluten free market meal in our FREE cooking demonstration, Mill City Cooks!

Power of Produce–PoP Club!- A seasonal vegetable tasting club for kids ages 5-12. Collect punches on trading cards and receive a $2 token to spend on produce at the market for tasting this Saturday’s vegetable! This season PoP will be at the market’s green Information Booth in the center of the market on the Chicago Mall.
Guthrie Theater Free Family Open House– From 11am-3pm enjoy lots of family fun activities with our neighbors at the Guthrie Theater. Take a peek backstage, curl up in for a storytelling, let your imagination run wild at their mask-making station, and so much more!!

11AM – 1PM MCFM welcomes Sweet Rhubarb playing folk and bluegrass music in the music tent located near the Guthrie stairs.

This is the last Saturday to sample fresh, seasonal veggie recipes created and prepared by Nutrition students at our Meet Your Vegetables booth, located at the top of the Chicago Mall. Our interns will be sampling Rainbow Chard and Cilantro with Fresh Ginger Dressing–grab a recipe and a sample and chat with medical professionals from Allina Health, the program’s sponsor.

This Saturday’s featured local artists include: House of Talents, Anna Metcalfe Ceramics, Aprilierre, Willful, Birchberry,Crankosaurus Press, Universal Pants, Annika Kaplan Jewelry, Milkweed Editions, ArtAndes, and Sassy Knitwear. Find them in the train shed and on the Chicago Expansion!
