August 24, 2016, Wednesday - Mill City Live at Mill City Museum
Set in the museum's dramatic open air Ruin Courtyard, Mill City Live features outdoor concerts every Wednesday night in August by some of the best local artists for a unique happy hour experience. Visit Mill City Museum before or after the show; the concert ticket includes admission to the museum from 4 to 9 pm. Food and drink by D’Amico Catering will be available for purchase.
Enjoy an evening with Jelloslave, a quartet with cellists Jacqueline Ultan and Michelle Kinney, drummer Greg Schutte and Gary Waryan on tablas. The group's repertoire ranges from jazz to Middle Eastern to Afro-Caribbean to pop, and they are known for their improvisational compositions.
- Time: 6 to 8 p.m.
- Fee: $5 includes concert and museum admission from 4 to 9 p.m., an opportunity to visit Mill City Museum at a significant discount. Free for Minnesota Historical Society members.
