Before Marlon James and Lisa Lucas take the stage for Big Ideas: Can Literature Make a Damn Bit of Difference?, a lively discussion about the importance, issues, and opportunities that books bring to our lives and culture, please join us for an intimate pre-event reception with the featured guests at Spoonriver (next door to the Guthrie).

Your ticket to the reception includes one complimentary drink, delicious appetizers, and admission to the main event at 7 p.m. (as well as seating in the front section of the theater).

All proceeds benefit the programs for readers and writers at the Loft. ($115 of each ticket is tax-deductible.)
