April 13, 2017, Thursday - 36th Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival opens (thru April 27)


The Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival returns April 13-29, with more than 350 bold, exciting, and moving works from new and veteran filmmakers from around the globe.

This year's festival will feature new virtual reality, narrative, documentary and experimental feature length and short films from 70+ countries, more than 80 films made in Minnesota, and a series of films for youth and young audiences. Nightly events and parties, and engaging panel discussions will take place at venues throughout the Twin Cities.
