The City will hold its annual Community Connections Conference in 2020 conference with the theme of "We count," representing that all communities are welcome and valued. In 2019, the conference featured interactive workshops, speakers, an immigration, family and housing legal clinic, free food, panel discussions and over 119 exhibitors.

The City host's this conference so that:

  • Residents, community groups, neighborhood organizations, City of Minneapolis departments and decision-makers collaborate and connect with each other to solve community problems.
  • All communities feel welcome to interact with or get involved in local decision-making.
