First Thursdays in the Arts District

First Thursdays in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District is an Open Studio and Gallery Tour held the first Thursday of each month. Many NEMAA member artists and galleries (including a multitude of painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, ceramists, textile and fiber artists, jewelers, and furniture showrooms) open their studios at the Northrup King Building located in the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District.

Stop by the Red Stag Supper Club after First Thursday for late night music. The Red Stag Supper Club features Happy Hour 3pm - close and late night music at 10:00 PM. Pick up a wooden nickel for a free drink at the Red Stag Supper Club during First Thursday while supplies last. The Red Stag Supper Club is located at 509 1st Avenue NE, Minneapolis.

The largest film event in the region, and one of the largest and longest running film festivals in the country, the MSP International Film Festival annually presents some 200 feature length and short form narrative and documentary films from 60+ countries.

Regular Screenings: $12 General Admission | $10 Film Society Members | $6 Students w/ Student ID. Certain films have different ticket prices. That information will be noted on the films’ pages.
 
Ordering online is easy. Browse the films, find one you want to see, and click the showtime of the screening you wish to attend. You don’t have to worry about printing out and forgetting your tickets at home – just bring the credit card with which you made the purchase to the box office.
 
Film Society Members, make sure to select the member ticket price and be able to present your membership card at the box office!
