Flow into summer with FREE yoga classes at Peavey Plaza (weather permitting). Bring a water, mat and towel. Members and nonmembers are welcome to attend. Nonmembers that attend receive a FREE three-day trial fitness pass to any of our three fitness locations. Plus, join YWCA Minneapolis as a member for just $15!

MNspin Musician of the Week: Katy Vernon

Katy Vernon is a London born singer songwriter. Resume highlights include being named the Winner of Best Acoustic Performer By City Pages, the Eric Stokes songwriting award, and Kerrville Folk Best new song award. Her most recent record ‘Suit Of Hearts’ was named album of the year by Ukulele magazine as
well as landing on several local best of lists. She was also a finalist for Best International Ukulele player!

Summer at Orchestra Hall is a new take on the Minnesota Orchestra’s traditional summer festival, celebrating the Orchestra’s home in the city and its proximity to the revitalized Peavey Plaza. The community is invited to participate in special food experiences and free entertainment by outstanding local performers at Peavey Plaza.
