Week 19 at the Mill City Farmers Market


September 13 was an eventful day at the Market. In addition the overwhelming selection of produce, meats, cheeses, canned and dried items, etc., there was the 4th Annual Bread Festival and baking contest, crop art with OHK Grange, Oliver H. Kelley’s Farm introduced kids to farm animals, plus music by the Roe Family Singers and demonstrations by Compatible Technologies International.

And then she proceded to build a snowman with the puffball mushrooms...
Yes, it's getting to be that time of the year for hats and mittens. I love my hat from Barn Swallow Garden.
By some odd coincidence, both Ames Farm and Swede Lake Farm had conjoined produce:
