Mill District Would Move to the 3rd Ward Under Redistricting Plan
Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 11:20AMThe City Council Ward maps proposed by the 2012 Redistricting Group would move the Mill District and most of the Downtown East & West neighborhoods to the 3rd Ward represented by Council Member Diane Hofstede. The above mentioned neighborhoods are currently represented by 7th Ward Council Member Lisa Goodman.
The Park District would also change for the Mill District from Dist. 3 represented by Scott Vreeland to Dist. 4 represented by anita Tabb.
The 2012 Redistricting Group will hold 2 meetings next week at which the public can offer comments on the proposals:
