July 26 West River Parkway Closure for Aquatennial Party and Fireworks

West River Parkway between 4th Ave and Portland Avenue will be closed Saturday, July 26, from approximately Noon to 11:30pm for the 75th Annual Aquatennial Celebration street party and Fireworks.

The Target Fireworks show is one of the largest in the country, and will light up the Minneapolis sky at 10:00pm with a spectacular pyrotechnic display. In addition to the amazing firework show, enjoy pre-firework festivities starting at 6 pm.

Also note - the section of West River Parkway between 4th Street South to Franklin Avenue continues to be closed as a result of a mudslide earlier this summer.
