Sixteen images that capture the unique sights and scenes of Minneapolis parks were announced as winners of the third annual Picture a Park Photo Contestduring the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s (MPRB) Wednesday meeting. Sponsored by the MPRB, People for Parks and National Camera Exchange, the contest aims to highlight the beauty, events and fun throughout Minneapolis parks.
Award-winning images are currently on display at www.minneapolisparks.org and will soon be featured on a poster, which will be displayed in recreation centers throughout Minneapolis in 2013. Judges selected the winners from more than 300 entries.
